Identity and online platforms for Western Titans – one of the few active BMX racing clubs in Scotland.

The club aims to encourage newcomers of all ages to try BMX racing at the Clydebank track. A website, YouTube channel, Facebook page promote the club online while posters (below) create further awareness. Club members share content and information on the club’s social site.

SallyJane engaged The Nth Degree to make their website more commercial and reflect a growing successful business.

Public Relations and Social Media Management

Writer and PR consultant, Lynda Hamilton, manages the Twitter feed and secures local and nationwide press coverage for SallyJane. For example, a competition was featured in the Daily Express newspaper in the run up to Mother’s Day. Lynda also writes for the blog and proofreads all the copy on the website.

Complimentary admission to 6 Degrees Networking events

SallyJane Director, Maggie Watson (below), received complimentary admission to 6 Degrees Networking events in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. Attending the informal networking events gave Maggie the opportunity to promote SallyJane and meet potential customers and suppliers.

When Shahid Ghani took over one of Edinburgh’s most popular Indian restaurants, Shezan Edinburgh, he not only gave the restaurant a new contemporary look, he summoned The Nth Degree to re-design the website and integrate social media and PR campaigns to celebrate the re-launch.

Umbrella concept promoting Scottish attractions

Umbrella concept for Brand Impact promotional merchandise to promote Scotland’s natural features and attractions. The concept was inspired by Victor Brierley’s presentation on Bagging Scotland at a 6 Degrees Networking event (see clip below). It’s hoped that the umbrella will remind natives that there is plenty to do and see on their own doorstep. It also makes a practical souvenir for tourists. NB. Not all the statistics are 100% correct as this is a pre-production concept.

Identity, photography, social media and website for Sally McPhail

Identity, photography, website and social media for German language consultant Sally McPhail. The identity aims to visually convey translation.

The left side of the cross bar in the ‘S’ represents German which passes through the ‘S’ (S for Sally) and is translated into English (right side of the cross bar).

Identity guidelines we are also created to ensure the identity is used correctly when used by third parties.

Letterpress business cards for Claimbase, London

Claimbase specialise in claim management platforms for the legal and insurance profession with clients who are top law firms and blue chip companies.

To engender high quality and attention to detail, GF Smith supplied the paper while Glasgow Press printed the cards using letterpress.

Internet marketing for Ignite Restaurant, Edinburgh

When Ignite Restaurant approached The Nth Degree to design and build a website, we explained that they would need to take their internet marketing to another level in order to have the edge in the highly competitive restaurant sector in Edinburgh.

How we took Ignite’s internet marketing to The Nth Degree

After an initial re-write to maximise SEO, The Nth Degree created a more forward thinking website to incorporate an online booking system, menu search and downloadable PDFs with fresh, new photography.

The team then focused on social media and further SEO, along with co-ordinating PR activity to ensure on and offline coverage before creating a mobile version of the website (see below).

Thanks to its combined design and marketing efforts, The Nth Degree was able to put Ignite firmly on the map as one of the finest Bengali and Indian restaurants in Edinburgh.

More than 40% of the restaurant’s bookings are now made online, customers can connect via social media and Ignite is permanently positioned at the top of Google rankings.

RNLI fundraising event – Radness Unlimited 2008

Radness Unlimited was organised in 2008 for the RNLI. The event was supported by children, youths and the general public, together with several retail outlets in Ocean Terminal and Edinburgh. A website, printed materials along with press and radio coverage was used to promote the event. It received a commendation at the Scottish Event Awards 2009 and an award from the RNLI.
